Sunday school is back at Sveta Petka Mill Park this Sunday 15ТH October!
Sunday school gives children a chance to learn about our beautiful Orthodox Christian faith. Topics covered include the Bible, Saints, feast days, the Holy Liturgy, prayer, as well as many other themes that are important to the Macedonian Orthodox Church. The children partake in different fun activities while learning and interacting with friends. The students participate in the Holy Liturgy by receiving Holy Communion, as well as chanting prayers and psalms. There’s also the fun day for Kolede (5th January), where the Sunday school students can also take part in the Christmas play.
So come and join us whenever you can! Classes are run every Sunday from 9am in the church hall (during school terms), and it’s FREE!
This Sunday’s topic is the sign of the cross, prostrations, and venerating icons.
